Meet Our Founder

Amaris Garcia

As a mother who has experienced birth, a certified childbirth educator, labor doula, breastfeeding counselor, and professionally trained postpartum doula, Amaris has a passion for helping other couples have joyful and healthy birth experiences and be equipped to make informed decisions for their families through evidence-based information and nurturing support. Whether it is your first birth experience or you have had many, she believes all families should have options available for both educational and emotional support through one of the most special times in a family's life.

Amaris has been specially trained to support the process of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum-whether it is a hospital birth, home birth, birthing center birth, medicated birth, unmedicated birth, or even a cesarean section. She is also a certified birth and bereavement doula, prepared to bring support for birth in any outcome, including both expected and unexpected pregnancy and infant loss.

Amaris has also been going through ongoing herbal and natural health education and has been using natural remedies in her home for many years, as well as enjoying gardening and making natural products for her family. She loves studying the science behind how things work and is a strong supporter of breastfeeding and

accredited leader in La Leche League International.  Amaris believes God made the mom's body with the ability to  both birth and feed her baby naturally and loves to see the miracle of His creation unfold throughout this entire process.

Amaris is bilingual in Spanish and loves to have the opportunity to serve people of many different cultures and backgrounds. She humbly counts it a privilege to be invited to share in one of the most intimate times in a family's life and puts her heart into serving each client in a compassionate and caring manner.
